So many of my coaching clients struggle with feeling good about the healthy direction their headed in because they haven't yet arrived at their final destination. It's hard for them to celebrate their wins along the way because they stay so focused on the fact that they are not yet exactly where they want to be.It's hard for them the focus on the progress they are making verses wanting everything to be just perfect right now, please and thank you. 

It took them quite some time to get stuck in the rut they are in, but they instantly want to be pulled out of it.... because we all want everything instantly, right? That's what we expect from every single thing in life...

Today I’m super excited to share MY 18 goals I want to complete before 2018, and I’m challenging YOU to play along. You have until the end of 2017 to complete all 18 goals on your list.

When I sat down to make this list, I first pulled out my copy of Your Best Year 2017 and laid it down side-by-side next to my bullet journal (where I house all of my goals, agenda, to-do lists, journals and rambles. KNOW YOUR LIMITS TO SCALE YOUR CHOICE

In coaching conversations I often ask, “On a scale from one to ten, how committed are you to this goal? Ten being ‘absolutely committed, it’s basically done’ to one being ‘I forgot the goal already.’” If the answer is seven or under, the client and I work together to adjust the goal so that their commitment level rises to at least an eight. It is only at that level of commitment that lasting change will take place.

I really want to encourage you to dream again and know that it is ALWAYS the perfect time to stop, dream and make some great goals! I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed and in a rut doing the same thing all the time all-the-while completely forgetting what it even is that you WANT to do.

It’s okay, just don’t stay stuck there. Today is a new day for you to start dreaming and thinking about what direction you want to go in. Even if it’s just. one. thing.
